Thank you for your interest in Sycamore Lane Therapeutic Riding Center!
We are looking forward to an exciting 2012 session. This center is run year round and there will be opportunities to volunteer on the weekends as well as weekdays. You may contact us for a formal schedule of classes.
There will be many different and exciting ways to volunteer and we want our volunteer program to be positive, nurturing and we want people to be able to volunteer in ways that interest them. There will be a place on the application to express which volunteer opportunities interest you.
There is a $25.00 application fee per volunteer to process the paperwork and do a simple background check which is required by NARHA, the state of Oregon, and our facility. The application fee money will be used to subsidize lessons for the impaired and needy.
It is a requirement that any participating child or adult rider must have a family member or caregiver to volunteer as well. You must be 14 years old or older to volunteer. All volunteers must fill out a consent form and a Volunteer packet.
